Ali and Jason’s Wedding in Fishtown Philadelphia

This summer I photographed Ali and Jason’s wedding in Fishtown Philadelphia.

Their love story started when Ali and a friend’s car broke down on the side of the road. Jason came to the rescue. The rest was history!

The day began at Ali and Jason's charming Fishtown home, which served as the perfect setting for their wedding preparations. What made this getting-ready session even more special was their adorable dogs. As soon as I entered their home, I was greeted with wagging tails.

The house buzzed with excitement as Ali, surrounded by her bridesmaids, got ready for her big day. The bridesmaids' laughter and the dogs' antics provided a delightful backdrop for candid shots, making the morning preparations feel warm and full of love. After the couple’s first look, we set out to explore Fishtown.

Before heading to the industrial brewery for the ceremony, we strolled through the vibrant streets of Fishtown for some pre-wedding portraits. Fishtown is known for its eclectic mix of street art, historic buildings, making it an ideal backdrop.

We made our way to the brewery where Ali and Jason would exchange their vows. The contrast between the gritty, urban surroundings and the elegance of the wedding decor was nothing short of stunning. The brewery's exposed brick walls and steel beams created a rustic yet industrial backdrop for the ceremony and reception.

Guests were seated amidst the towering fermentation tanks, giving them a firsthand look at the brewing process. The aroma of hops and the clinking of glasses filled the air as Ali and Jason said their "I do's" in front of family and friends.

The evening was filled with hugs, delicious craft beer, and a dance floor that came to life with the sounds of laughter and celebration.

It was a privilege to be a part of their love story, and I am grateful to have been able to preserve these memories for Ali and Jason to relive for years to come.
