Thank you so much for visiting my blog! My name is Angela Gaspar and I am a New York City based Wedding and Portrait Photographer.
I first picked up a camera in high school and there was no turning back from there. Starting old school, before the days of digital, I shot in black and white film, developing in a make shift dark room in my bathroom. I think my parents were happy I had a passion but a little disappointed in the loss of their bathroom for hours at a time!
The first wedding I shot, I fell in love with the emotions of the experience. An overflow of photographic opportunities. I thought to myself, “How wonderful this is!”
Today, nearly eight years later, I am still loving every minute. I photograph with a photojournalist edge, capturing unique moments most would never see. If you catch a glimpse of me while I am shooting a wedding you will probably find me with an ear-to-ear grin. I love every single second of a wedding, and feel blessed to have a job I enjoy so thoroughly. My style is unobtrusive; and while I can go unnoticed you will see I capture every precious moment of the day.
I’ve had brides tell me seeing their photographs are like reliving the day — only better, because this time they see those special little moments they would have missed had I not been there.
