Chris & Lisa’s Engagement Session In Liberty Park

Before it got so cold I had a lovely engagement session with Lisa and Chris. We started our afternoon at their fabulous apartment building in Jersey City. We then headed to Liberty Park for some fabulous outdoor portraits.

Lisa and Chris are such a cute and fun couple. They even brought champagne as a prop for our session but it almost got us kicked out of the park! We had a good laugh about it and tried to be more inconspicuous.

Myung and Michael’s Brooklyn Engagement Session

This past weekend I met up with Myung and Michael for a fun Brooklyn engagement shoot. We lucked out with some gorgeous March weather that rallied with us for the entire shoot.

Our first stop was Dumbo General Store for some photographs and an impromptu Checkers game.

We ended our shoot at the fabulously quirky eatery, Building on Bond, a favorite brunch spot of theirs.

Jason and Mia’s Engagement In Historic Ybor City, Florida

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

I recently had the pleasure of leaving the cold blustery New York winter, to shoot Jason and Mia’s engagement session in Florida.

Jason proposed in September at Eggmont Key, a small island off the southern tip of Pinellas Park, FL. The only way to reach the island is by ferry – and on the ride over, a pelican decided to use Jason’s head as a restroom! The old saying about bird ‘gifts’ and luck must be true, because Mia happily accepted. What a great engagement story to tell their kids one day!

We all headed by trolley to the historic neighborhood of Ybor City in Tampa, FL. Exploring this unique and rich neighborhood, we found a number of interesting backdrops. The chemistry between Jason and Mia is adorable, and it really came through in their photos. Take a look!

Sarah & George’s New York City Engagement Shoot

I first met Sarah and George back in September and I immediately saw what a sweet and sincere couple they were. That’s why I was so excited to see them again for their engagement shoot.

We started at New York City’s Grand Central Terminal.

Brent and Laura’s Shelburne Farms Engagement Shoot!

Brent and I go way back. We went to high school together and have been friends ever since, and when he asked me to take his engagement photographs, I was so excited!

So we found ourselves one gorgeous Sunday morning, dogs in tow, headed to Shelburne Farms in the bucolic Vermont town of the same name. Take a look at the adorable photographs, and let me know what you think.

Courtney and Clint’s Spring Engagement Shoot in Burlington, VT

I met up with Courtney and Clint in a park by the University of Vermont. They kicked off their shoes , hit the grassy field, and we got started. Watching Courtney and Clint interact with each other was such fun – they are very much in love and it really shines through in their photographs. Thanks Courtney and Clint, for such a wonderful afternoon. I can’t wait to shoot your wedding aboard The Spirit of Ethan Allen ship in October!

Megan and John’s Beach Engagement Shoot!

Though a warm beach day turned into a chilly evening, Megan and John were tough cookies! We starting shooting near sunset, for that beautiful golden light, and ended with some great streetlamp-lit black and white photographs. Naz and Murtaza’s Engagement Shoot!

I had the pleasure of shooting Naz and Murtaza’s engagement shoot in NYC a couple of weeks ago. We started our adventure in my neighborhood, the Lower East Side, then made our way over to some very interesting locations in Brooklyn. We had a great time walking around and shooting until sundown. Devon and Jessica’s Engagement Shoot!

I had so much fun shooting engagement photos with Devon and Jessica, who are engaged to be married next November. The weather was gorgeous, with the leaves at full peak on this Friday afternoon. We wandered through tall grass and up hills, exploring an old abandoned barn and climbed retired train cars. It was quite the adventure!

Sara, EJ and Hannah

Sara and EJ wanted to document not only their love for each other but the love they share for their adorable (and energetic) dog Hannah. We had such a great time walking around the grounds of Morse Farm on this gorgeous Vermont fall day. I was very impressed with how well behaved Hannah was for the session.
