Surprise Proposal Photographer in Philadelphia/Featured in Philadelphia Magazine

As a surprise proposal photographer in Philadelphia, I am so honored to be Featured on the Philadelphia Magazine website, PhillyMag.com, today! When the editor of Philadelphia Magazine reached out to me about featuring Karim and Angie’s proposal, I was so excited to have their story shared.

The couple met through Jonathan, a mutual friend who invited them to Salsa dancing, and they have been together ever since. I wonder if Jonathan knew they would connect! If he did, it worked because they dated for six years before the proposal.

Karim had planned to propose later in the year, but after years of saving for the perfect ring, he couldn’t wait any longer! Angie wanted her ring to be a complete surprise, and Karim wanted it to be spectacular. He worked with L. Priori to get it just right, going off of Angie’s subtle tips and the local Philadephia jewelry company’s expertise.

The day was chilly and rainy, and while some may be concerned, I love the romantic cinematic look that comes with the mist of rain, especially with the Ben Frankin bridge in the background with a haze of clouds.

As they arrived, I was there ready for the moment, which was amazing. Angie was so surprised! Karim plans special dates for them often, so she wasn’t tipped off when he wanted to dress up to go out. She said she would have loved to have a ring from him, but it was even more special to know the care that went into picking it out.
