Mark and Uttara’s Surprise Proposal at Longwood Gardens

Mark and Uttara’s Surprise Proposal at Longwood Gardens was unique and fun. Mark wanted to plan a scavenger hunt, and my partner Avi and I knew about it. We even bought Longwood Gardens hats to look official when we asked Uttara and her family to participate in a fun family scavenger hunt. As Uttara made her way around following the clues, she found prizes that were significant to her and Mark’s relationship, but she still didn’t figure out that it was all a ruse!

The final clue led her to a quiet spot I had picked out ahead of time, with Mark waiting for her in a suit and with a ring. She was so surprised and emotionally overwhelmed but managed to exclaim a YES! Between hugs, she looked up to see family cheering for them from above, and they all ran down to celebrate. After she said yes, I took them around the grounds for some really sweet engagement photos with stunning backdrops from the park, including a gorgeous waterfall.
