Milena and Charlie’s Wedding - In Philadelphia and at The Merion

Their love story started with distance between them but in March they said I do and were together always at last.

The wedding took place in Philadelphia and at The Merion. Their ceremony was nothing short of spectacular and moving. They were literally on center stage in front of their dearest friends and family. Milena surprised Charlie with a special serenade that brought tears to his eyes and even tears to my eyes!

This bride was going to be joining her new husband in Florida right away so it was important to have her beloved city of Philadelphia included in their portraits and I’m so happy we did. We didn’t have a lot of time with portraits at Race Street Pier but we made the most of it. So many of my favorite photos were the moments caught in between locations. There is nothing better to me than capturing those smiles, the bursts of laughter and secret whispers.

We made our way to The Merion just in time to capture the most beautiful warm sunset light for more portraits before they celebrated the rest of the evening with their guests. Their reception was filled with even more happy tears and laughter and I was so happy to be with them to capture it all.
