What Should I Wear For My Portrait Session?

This is a great question and I get asked it a lot, especially for photoshoots with couples. Basically, I always say wear what you feel comfortable in and what makes you feel gorgeous!

Now the location of the photo shoot factors in as well. If you are doing your shoot in Philly and want to wear heels, that is great but I always recommend a pair of comfortable shoes to switch in and out of if we are walking a lot.

If you love how you feel in jeans and a more casual look, that’s great! You kick it up a notch by pairing jeans with a new top and I love adding a hat for some of the photos.

Kay wore a casual cute outfit for some and then changed into a traditional African dress so I always welcome outfit changes!

With all that said, you will want a cohesive look with your partner. I ask that couples coordinate and blend well together but aren’t too matchy matchy if that makes sense.
