Winter Engagement Session in Philadelphia

Kay and Farouk wanted to document their love for each other and their love of their new city, so on a chilly afternoon we set out for their winter engagement session in Philadelphia.

They wanted to hit just a few of the many landmarks in Philadelphia so we started in Center City right on Broad Street. I take these photos on Broad Street often but each one is unique to the couple I photograph here and I feel that shows through in my images.

Kay changed into a traditional West African dress for the second half of their portrait session and we headed to The Rail Park. This is one of my favorite spots to take photos and I feel like it’s a hidden treasure. I love ending sessions at Philadelphia Museum of Art. The sunset views are some of the best in the city and Kay’s dress was made to sparkle under the warm light.
