Proposal at FDR Park in Philadelphia
Philadelphia is full of incredible spots for a romantic proposal, but I think FDR Park is such a hidden gem. It has beautiful waterfront, the stone gazebo, the gorgeous Swedish Museum and so much greenery. Recently, I had the privilege of photographing a beautiful proposal at FDR Park in Philadelphia and all it’s iconic views, and I’m excited to share it today.
How He Planned the Surprise Proposal
The South Asian Market is near and dear to the couple. They’ve shared so many Saturdays strolling around and trying all the delicious food. This being said, it was the perfect cover to get his soon-to-be fiancée to the park.
As they made their way to the stone gazebo overlooking the water, Neal got down on one knee and Nadia was overcome with surprise. It was a quick yes for her!

Why FDR Park is a Hidden Gem for Proposals
For couples looking for a romantic yet intimate place to pop the question, FDR Park is a fantastic choice. It’s easy to access, has stunning views, and offers a natural, peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle of the city. Plus, the variety of picturesque spots makes it ideal for a post-proposal photoshoot.
