Wedding at Philadelphia’s Union Trust

I loved capturing all the moments of this Wedding at Philadelphia’s Union Trust. One of the best parts of being a wedding photographer is getting to document multiple milestones for the same family. A couple years ago, I photographed a beautiful wedding where the bride was the maid of honor for her sister. This time, the roles were reversed—she was the one walking down the aisle, and her sister stood by her side as maid of honor. It was such a full-circle moment, and I loved capturing it all.

Getting Ready at the Renaissance Hotel

My husband, Avi, joined me as my second photographer for this wedding, and we started the day at the Renaissance Hotel in Philadelphia. Some of the best candid moments are captured during getting ready and it’s so much fun. I especially love the moments I photographed of Tory’s mom and sister helping her get ready and the first look with her bridesmaids.

A Classic Church Ceremony

Next, we made our way to their church for the ceremony. Tory had a sweet moment with her dad before walking down the aisle and Mike’s eyes lit up when he saw his future wife.

Portraits in the Heart of Philadelphia

After the ceremony, we took some time for portraits, capturing the couple in that just-married bliss. It was raining that day, but we found a perfect spot with the beautiful Philadelphia City Hall for coverage from the rain. Since it was raining, we took advantage of the beautiful design of Union Trust for more portraits.

A Stunning Reception at Finley’s Union Trust

The party continued at Finley’s Union Trust. This venue has epic architecture as it used to be a bank. The high ceilings and stunning chandeliers are unreal. The fireworks and spotlight make for an entrance made for celebrating the couple. The rest of the night was filled with happy tears, dancing and of course delicious food.

Why I love being a wedding photographer

By the end of the night, I was reminded once again why I love what I do. How lucky am I that I get to meet amazing people and photograph one of the happiest days of their lives.
